Zone3 is the go-to hub for triathlon competitors. It was founded by James Lock, a nation-level swimmer and runner who created Zone3 out of his love for triathlons. Whether running, cycling, swimming, or all of the above, Zone3's activewear line provides flexibility and comfort to seasoned professionals and casual athletes alike. The brand has expanded to be the highest-performing brand on the market — receiving even the Queen's Award for Business Enterprise due to the grassroots impact on athletic-centric design processes.
The initial goal with Zone3 was to renovate the user experience by removing the current flow, which had ineffective navigation and a poor journey. Equipped only with media assets the brand intended on carrying forward, our team did a total refresh of the site. The focus was on replacing digital baggage with intuitive basics, clean pages, enhanced site speed, and a simplified user journey. By focusing on appealing to international markets through design and UX, we were able to implement content templates, dynamic content creation opportunities, custom-developed pages, and an overall improved setup.
