About Edge of Ember
Founded in 2014, Edge of Ember is a jewellery brand founded with the idea that fashion should feel as good as it looks. With social responsibility at the heart of the business, Edge of Ember committed to making high-end products that keep the planet in mind. Using recycled materials, ethically-sourced gemstones, and lab-made diamonds, they’re more than a company; they’re a community of jewellery-lovers that understands the best pieces in your collection are those that don’t harm people or the planet.
Edge of Ember’s name is derived from the idea that their brand is as bright as a glowing ember, with the edge being where they go above and beyond the ordinary. We wanted to design a Shopify store that embodied this uniqueness and would set them apart from their competitors in the same way that their products do. Neutral tones, bold fonts, and clean design do what Edge of Ember’s store needed to do best: truly reflect the quality of the brand. Designed and created from the ground up, the end result is an effortlessly glamorous website that’s optimised for style and conversion.
For Edge of Ember’s entrance into the Shopify world, we wanted to focus on site speed and efficiency. With so many jewellery brands, every second counts towards conversion. We built the website from the ground up, allowing us to cut out all the unnecessary fat that you typically find within stock Shopify themes. The bespoke site gave us the chance to replace clunky applications and slow page builders with clean, efficient, custom code. No matter where your fashion choices bring you on the site, every instance of navigation functions as flawlessly as it looks.
