About Koba Skincare
KOBA Skincare was developed as a line with innovative and targeted products capable of serving all skin types. Koba (nkóbá) — Lingala for “turtle” — is a nod to founder Thérèse’s Congolese heritage, where turtles symbolise longevity and protection. Ethical practices and sustainable sourcing were always a must for KOBA Skincare — giving customers the opportunity to feel confident in themselves and their chosen products.
Custom Shopify Build
Our final goal for KOBA Skincare was an upscale website that matched their beautiful products — going so far as to let package design inform the frosted header navigation style. It was vital to add product showcases, highlight the company mission, and add e-commerce functionalities for easy shopping. A story was curated through auxillary pages as much as it was the homepage, turning every portion of the site into an engaging source of brand identity.
